Ford Motor Company is recalling more than 355,000 trucks due to a fault with the instrument panel display, as reported by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).

The recall encompasses 2025 and 2026 models, including F-550 SD, F-450 SD, F-350 SD, F-250 SD and 2025 F-150 vehicles.

“An instrument panel display that fails to show essential information, like warning lights or vehicle speed, heightens the risk of a crash,” NHTSA mentioned in their notice.

The recall covers 355,656 vehicles

The safety agency explained, “A blank instrument panel cluster (IPC) at startup might make safety-related indicators and gauges unreadable in certain circumstances. An IPC that fails to show crucial safety information clearly can elevate the likelihood of an accident.”

According to NHTSA, Ford has recognized 95 warranty claims that might be connected to this issue as of June 26, initiating from the first claim received on January 30.

The Michigan-based automaker said it is not aware of any reports of injury or accidents related to the issue.

Vehicle owners will be informed through mail and guided to visit their local Ford dealer to get the IPC software updated, free of charge.

“The remedy software will have the memory protection feature disabled,” NHTSA said in the notice.
