ORLANDO, Fla. — Goofy’s 30th anniversary road trip ends its journey back where it all began for a joyous finale!

The stars of “A Goofy Movie” reunited to mark the milestone anniversary, bringing fans along for a celebration of the beloved Disney classic.

The event took place at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida, the same place where the film originally premiered three decades ago.

Cast members, including Bill Farmer (Goofy) and Jason Marsden (Max), struck poses for photos and greeted fans alongside Goofy himself.

Farmer, who has voiced Goofy for more than 35 years, showed up to the screening wearing some sentimental attire.

“This is the actual jacket and the same tie,” he told On The Red Carpet.

“I don’t know if it’s the original tie that I wore 30 years ago, but this jacket was given to me by Disney character voices.”

After missing the original premiere, Marsden, was thrilled to finally join the celebration.

“This occasion holds a special place in my heart because 30 years ago, I missed the premiere while I was busy with another undertaking. Now, I have the chance to finally experience it, allowing me to relive that momentous occasion.”

Walt Disney World played host to the grand finale of a nationwide tour this summer, organized by D23: The Official Disney Fan Club. This tour featured nostalgic showings of “A Goofy Movie” in over 20 cities across America, making stops in places like Las Vegas, Dallas, St. Louis, and New York.

The storyline centers around Goofy, who embarks on a cross-country adventure with his teenage son Max in an attempt to strengthen their bond. Their journey is filled with comedic mishaps and touching scenes, cementing the film’s status as a cherished multi-generational classic.

“A Goofy Movie” is streaming now on Disney+.

The Walt Disney Company is the parent company of Disney+ and this ABC station.
