A former Bond Girl and Miss World winner was spotted running errands in Los Angeles on Tuesday.

The star, now 68, hails from Sweden and landed the ultimate pageant queen title in 1977.

She played a Bond Girl twice – in 1983’s Octopussy followed by A View to a Kill, both starring the now-late Roger Moore as 007.

She even shared her first on-screen kiss with Moore.

She made a mark on television as well, appearing in the popular mystery series Twin Peaks and the soap opera Days of Our Lives. Additionally, she featured in the music video for Adam Ant’s song Strip.

Can you guess who she is?

If you guessed Mary Stavin, you’re right!

Stavin was spotted at LA grocery store Pavilions, where she picked up a cart-load of items.

She kept it casual in a decorative blouse, denim skirt, golden Birkenstock sandals, and a messy bun.

A pair of sunglasses, as well as various gold jewelry, further accessorized the look.

Stavin began her acting career after being crowned Miss World in 1977 aged 20.

She landed a role in the 1981 Adam and the Ants music video for song Ant Rap before becoming a Bond Girl in 1983’s Octopussy.

Her extensive acting portfolio includes a portrayal of Heba in two episodes of Twin Peaks, followed by a guest role in an episode of Days of Our Lives.

Stavin has continued acting in recent years, with her last credit being in 2021’s  Barking Mad.

She is also set to appear in the comedy series Nom De Plume, which is currently in production.

Her resume boasts an array of recognizable titles – but perhaps none as big as James Bond.

Stavin played Octopussy girl and Kimberley Jones in two Bond films starring the now late Roger Moore, Octopussy and A View to a Kill.

And she shared a milestone moment in her acting career with Moore – her first on-screen kiss.

Stavin reminisced about this moment when she paid homage to the actor in 2017 for the Daily Mail after his passing at the age of 89, approvingly remembering the kiss they shared in A View to a Kill.

Famously, Moore wrote of the model and actress that ‘floating away on board a submarine with Mary Stavin must be many men’s dream’.

Stavin now lives in California with her second husband businessman Nicholas Wilcockson, who she wed in 1995, and the couple’s daughter.

The former Bond girl’s outing comes amid speculation over who will be the next 007.

The role has been vacant ever since Daniel Craig, the latest 007, departed in 2021.

Actor Aaron Taylor Johnson has emerged as the man most likely to replace Daniel Craig.

Taylor Johnson has previously remained reserved when questioned about the potential of him being cast as Bond, mentioning to Esquire: ‘It’s not really for me to say anything.’

If he is chosen for the role of Bond, he will collaborate with Steven Knight, who has been confirmed by Amazon MGM Studios in July as the screenwriter for the upcoming James Bond film.

The British screenwriter is perhaps best known as the creator of the hugely popular BBC crime drama Peaky Blinders starring Cillian Murphy.

And now he’s set to lend his talents to the long-running spy franchise by drafting the script for the newest 007 film, with Knight revealing that it has always been on his ‘bucket list’.

The latest Bond film is currently in development and is to be helmed by Dune director Denis Villeneuve, with Amazon MGM Studios overseeing the project after longtime producer Barbara Broccoli gave up creative control.

Meanwhile, Amy Pascal and David Heyman are on board to produce the movie via Pascal Pictures and Heyday Films respectively, while Tanya Lapointe will serve as executive producer.
