While on loan to Barcelona for the 2025/26 season, Marcus Rashford might be pocketing a reported £12m, but his choice in furniture suggests he’s keeping things refreshingly modest.
In spite of his high salary that could furnish his new digs with luxurious Spanish decor, Rashford was recently seen on a remarkably ordinary outing… at IKEA.
The Manchester United loanee was noticed navigating the Swedish furniture giant’s aisles in the city, donning sliders and carrying one of IKEA’s well-known blue bags.

Fans were quick to praise the scene, with one observer telling The Sun: “It was incredible to see such a renowned player in a store like IKEA. He has the wealth to buy anything, but maybe IKEA felt like a more relaxed place for him. Barca supporters love when their stars do things like this.”
The 27-year-old’s loan to Barcelona includes an option for the Catalan club to make it a permanent deal for approximately £26m. He’s had two appearances so far, one of which was a start, but he hasn’t scored or assisted yet.
However, Rashford’s performances have been promising and fairly sharp, with his displays – along with his form at Aston Villa late last season – proving enough to persuade Thomas Tuchel to call him back to England’s squad for their September internationals.
