CHICAGO (WLS) — Chicago police issued another warning Tuesday about an armed thief targeting businesses mostly on the Northwest Side.
The individual involved in each case is described by law enforcement as a male aged between 20 and 30 years, wearing a beige baseball cap, a hooded sweatshirt, black cargo pants, and black gym shoes. In every incident, the man enters the establishment, shows a firearm, and demands money from the workers.

Robberies occurred in a variety of Northwest neighborhoods at the following locations and times:
– 3900-block of South Archer Avenue at 5:18 a.m. Aug. 9 (Brighton Park)
– 6000-block of West Higgins Avenue at 11:50 a.m. Aug. 19 (Jefferson Park)
– 2000-block of North Damen Avenue at 1:38 p.m. Aug. 19 (Bucktown)
– 2700-block of North Harlem Avenue at 7:21 p.m. Aug. 26 (Montclare)
– 2400-block of West 103rd Street at 3:30 p.m. Aug. 31 (West Beverly)
This information comes after a warning was issued on Sunday regarding an armed robber targeting shops in the North Park and Norwood Park areas on the Northwest Side.
