New Bryan Kohberger Mugshot Released as Officials Weigh Sending Him to One of the Nation’s Toughest Prisons

Bryan Kohberger spent a little over three months at Washington State University, during which he was the subject of 13 behavior-related complaints.

The issues raised against him included accusations of homophobia, ableism, xenophobia, and misogyny. The first formal complaint came in just a few days into his initial semester in the doctoral program, with 12 more complaints following over the next three months, as shown in newly accessible documents.

The released material also contains photos of the apartment Kohberger vacated in Pullman. The images reveal a space cluttered with textbooks, graded papers, and a partially stocked refrigerator.

Meanwhile, the families of Madison Mogen and Ethan Chapin are taking legal action against the city of Moscow, objecting to the dissemination of numerous crime scene photos and videos from the initial response at 1122 King Road.

Their lawyer argues that many of these images represent an “unwarranted invasion of privacy.” Attorney Leander James points out that ‘blurring’ techniques used on the images offer ‘ineffective’ censorship, with blood still visible on the floors and walls outside the blurred areas. James also notes that the footage captures the distressing sounds of friends and roommates sobbing, which has been deeply traumatic for the families.

We are also learning that the witnesses and the individuals whom Kohberger’s attorney planned to intimate as suspects are getting threats.
