(The Hill) – Over 60 professions will benefit from President Trump’s “no tax on tips” legislation introduced through the “One, Big, Beautiful Bill Act.”

Those working in the service sector, from bartenders to golf caddies, will have the chance to earn their full tips without income tax deductions.

Individuals in this category can also avail themselves of tax deductions up to $25,000 on tips if their earnings are less than $150,000, or $300,000 for those married and filing jointly, as reported by The Associated Press.

The amount that workers can deduct is reduced by $100 for every $1,000 they make over $150,000.

Those undertaking overtime work will be entitled to up to $12,500 in deductions for overtime earnings, or up to $25,000 for joint filings. Similar to tip regulations, these deductions decrease for individuals earning over $150,000, AP noted.
