On Wednesday, Russian President Vladimir Putin asserted that he has “never refused” a meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and suggested Zelenskyy could visit Moscow, as reported by Russian state-run news outlet Tass.

“If Zelenskyy is prepared for a meeting, let him come to Moscow,” Putin stated, according to a translation of his comments made in China, where he attended a meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un during a military parade marking the 80th anniversary of World War II.

Yeah, there will be.”

It remains uncertain whether Trump will interpret Putin’s offer as a genuine gesture toward meeting with Zelenskyy or view it as a deceptive act of diplomacy, given his ongoing harsh rhetoric against Ukraine.
