Anti-ICE Portland rioters with guillotine clash with police in war-like scenes

A spokesperson from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement criticized “the unhinged behavior” of protesters who set up a guillotine in front of its Portland, Oregon, field office recently, emphasizing to Fox News Digital that “this needs to stop.”

The comments followed the release of a video showing demonstrators burning a flag and confronting law enforcement at the federal immigration facility on Labor Day.

“For misguided protesters who are unaware of the ICE mission to call for beheadings is unhinged behavior,” an ICE spokesperson stated to Fox News Digital on Wednesday.

“Our ICE law enforcement officers are experiencing a 1,000% increase in assaults. These men and women risk their lives daily to arrest violent criminal illegal aliens to protect and defend American citizens,” the spokesperson added. “Politicians and activists must lower the intensity and calm their rhetoric.”

Footage showed police clearing protesters outside the ICE field office amid shouts of “You are sad excuses for human beings!” and “You guys are violent, cowardly pigs!” from the crowd.

At least two protesters were seen wielding riot shields to protect against the munitions being fired at them.

“We are witnessing unprecedented threats against ICE officers, but this will not deter us,” ICE Deputy Director Madison Sheahan told “Fox & Friends” earlier this week regarding the incidents.

“We will continue to go after these criminals, these alien criminals that have wreaked havoc on the American people over the last four years, and we will continue to support our ICE officers, making sure they have the tools and resources they need to be successful. We will work with them to protect their family, whether it’s from doxxing or the threats that we see against them on a daily basis,” Sheahan added.
