A popular content creator from Pennsylvania allegedly attempted to end her own life by setting her house on fire — and now she is charged with arson.

Drew Mehalick-Headley, whose age wasn’t disclosed, was connected to a house fire early on Aug. 27. As per court documents obtained by local CBS station WHP, the Middletown Borough Police Department began receiving information that Mehalick-Headley had shared worrisome messages on her social media platforms later that evening.

In a lengthy Facebook post at 8:00 p.m., Mehalick-Headley, who is known online as “Drew Disaster,” wrote, “I’m sorry if it feels all for naught with how this has ended. It meant so much to me but I have come to accept the reality that my hurt is too much to carry.” She continued, “[N]o matter how much I try to avoid it, it seems I will always be a destructive force.”

According to WHP, in a now-deleted Instagram post, Mehalick-Headley stated, “I’m sorry. The pain has just become too heavy to bear. This is all I wanted. I’m glad that I got it. With love, Drew.”

An Instagram reel, which also appears to have been deleted or removed, showed Mehalick-Headley petting her two cats, apologizing to them, and saying, “Please cremate me or bury me in the shroud. I love you all, I truly do.”
