The fate of Dave Grohl’s marriage to wife Jordyn Blum has been revealed one year after he fathered a secret baby. 

The 56-year-old Foo Fighters frontman — who shares three daughters with Blum after tying the knot in 2003 — revealed in September 2024 that he had a baby girl outside of their marriage.

And earlier this year in February, the mother of his secret love child was revealed to be a Florida-born, rock and roll fan named Jennifer Young.

However, a source informed People in an article published Saturday that both Grohl and Blum are moving forward together despite the surprising revelation one year ago.

The insider stated that the mom-of-three has ‘forgiven’ the musician and that the couple are ‘very happy.’ 

‘They never desired a divorce though — the thought of splitting up their family was too heartbreaking for both of them. They love their daughters and are both excellent parents.’

Daily Mail has reached out to Grohl’s rep for comment.

The insider stated that the mom-of-three has ‘forgiven’ the musician and that the couple are ‘very happy’; the pair seen in 2016 in Hollywood 

Blum had been ‘distraught’ when the news first came to light but ‘the betrayal was painful for both of them.’ 

The source added that Grohl ‘felt terrible and begged her to forgive him’ while Blum’s friends ‘encouraged her to fight’ for her marriage. 

‘They’re very happy now. She feels it was all worth fighting for,’ the insider further expressed to the outlet. 

Grohl and Blum said ‘I do’ over 20 years earlier in 2003 and are parents to Violet, 19, Harper, 16, and Ophelia, 11. 

Last year in September, the former Nirvana drummer went on social media and disclosed he welcomed a baby girl outside of his marriage and ‘plans to be a devoted and supportive parent to her.’

The musician also expressed that he was working to ‘regain’ the ‘trust and forgiveness’ of his wife and children. 

A source previously told People that Blum had been aware of the singer’s love child ‘for a while’ before he publicly confessed to the affair on Instagram.

Late last year in November, Grohl notably called off his divorce lawyer in the hopes to ‘work things out’ with his wife.

Grohl and Blum exchanged vows over 20 years ago in 2003 and are parents to Violet, 19, Harper, 16, and Ophelia, 11; the couple seen with their three daughters in 2023 in L.A.

And one month earlier, a source told Daily Mail that Blum was in a ‘state of confusion’ after learning of her husband’s affair and fathering a secret love child.

‘One day Jordyn Blum is ditching her wedding ring and vowing divorce from cheating husband Dave Grohl.

‘The next she’s at home wearing the ring and sobbing because she doesn’t want the marriage to end,’ the insider continued. 

Back in March, a separate source told Us Weekly that Grohl and Blum were focused on giving their marriage another go. 

‘Jordyn has forgiven Dave and is trying to move on. She is [still] completely devastated by the situation but is standing by his side.

‘They are going to counseling, and Dave has been doing anything he can to win back Jordyn’s trust. Neither of them wants the family broken,’ the insider continued. 

And Page Six reported in February that the mother of Grohl’s secret love child was a Los Angeles-based rock and roll fan named Jennifer Young.  

Young also confirmed to the publication that their baby girl was welcomed to the world on August 1, 2024. 

‘They are going to counseling, and Dave has been doing anything he can to win back Jordyn’s trust. Neither of them wants the family broken,’ the insider continued; seen in 2015 in L.A. 

She did not disclose the name of their daughter ‘because there’s some really angry fans. Protecting her identity is really important.’

It is not known how Grohl and Young first crossed paths but she currently resides in L.A. where she is raising their little girl. 

Page Six also reported at the time that Young does not have any public social media accounts and her current occupation was also not known. 

However, she helped co-create the Cannibal comic book series in the past where she is credited as one of the writers, per League Of Comic Geeks. 

Young also attended UCLA and received her Master’s degree after taking part in the school’s Producers Program. 

Grohl and Blum have since made rare public appearances together following the musician’s secret love child bombshell.

Earlier this week on Friday, the pair were spotted attending a Supergrass concert at the Hollywood Palladium with friends, per People.

Blum flashed a small smile while strolling alongside Grohl and a pal. She was stylishly casual wearing a white dress and draped a gray denim jacket over her shoulders.

The Foo Fighters frontman also dressed down for the excursion in a pair of blue jeans as well as a blue denim button up. 

And back in July, Grohl and Blum also returned to Wimbledon together in the U.K.
