LEE COUNTY, Va. (WJHL) — On Saturday morning, the Lee County Public Service Authority (PSA) announced a Boil Water Notice for certain parts of the county. This decision followed a rupture in the main waterline in the Flatwoods community.

The PSA’s announcement detailed that the boil notice is applicable to the Blue Springs Service Area stretching from Campground Road west to Rose Hill Elementary School. This includes residents along Campground, Maple Hill, Flatwoods, Isopod, Wilson Hill, and Old Nursery roads. The Ocoonita area is also affected, as per the release.

Any water for consumption should be brought to a boil for at least one minute. The boil advisory is in effect until further notice.
