President Donald Trump is under fire once again after a lewd birthday letter bearing his signature was released by Jeffrey Epstein’s estate.

Representatives of the late financier, who faced disgrace, handed over a drawing with the president’s signature to Congress for their investigation into his criminal activities.

Democrats on the Oversight Committee then released the sketch on Monday, reigniting a controversy that has dogged the White House in recent months.

Trump had previously dismissed the birthday message as ‘fake’ and initiated a $10 billion defamation lawsuit against the Wall Street Journal, the first outlet to report on it.

He also condemned the ongoing attention to the Epstein files as a ‘Democrat hoax,’ despite considerable interest from the MAGA base regarding a potential government cover-up.

He argues that their political opponents have the most at risk with the files’ disclosure and criticizes the timing of not releasing these documents during Joe Biden’s presidency.

But Rep. Robert Garcia, the Oversight Committee’s Democratic ranking member, has now hit out at the president, alleging he is ‘lying’.

In a statement to the Wall Street Journal Monday, Garcia stated: ‘President Trump labeled the Epstein investigation a hoax and insisted his birthday note was fictitious.’

‘Now we know that Donald Trump was lying and is doing everything he can to cover up the truth. Enough of the games and lies, release the full files now.’

The famed birthday book is reportedly a compilation of messages collected by Epstein associate Ghislaine Maxwell for his 50th birthday.

Maxwell, who is currently serving a 20-year prison sentence for her role in Epstein’s crimes, reportedly asked her longtime boyfriend’s friends for ‘drawings, photos, or stories’ to mark his 50th birthday.

She collected and scanned the materials and bound them into an album she gave to Epstein for his birthday in 2003.

According to multiple reporters who have allegedly viewed the binder, many big names wrote messages to Epstein for his birthday.

Reports also indicate that the book contained a handwritten note from former President Bill Clinton, who had a social and professional relationship with Epstein in the 1990s and 2000s.

Attorney General Pam Bondi handed to the House Oversight Committee 33,000 pages of documents last month that were reviewed and released by the panel chaired by Republican Rep. James Comer on September 2, 2025.

But Democrats claim that only 3 percent of the documents they received included new information that was not already made public by Bondi’s DOJ.

The new details, they said mostly consisted of Customs and Border Protection (CBP) flight logs of Epstein’s private jet travel in and out of the U.S. between 2000 and 2014.

It thought that the new review of unredacted materials by the Oversight Committee staff might result in revealing names and information not previously released to the public.

Trump blasted the Epstein investigation last Friday, in a post on his Truth Social platform.

‘The confused and badly failing Democrat Party did nothing about Jeffrey Epstein while he was alive except befriend him, socialize with him, travel to his Island, and take his money!’ he wrote.

‘They knew everything there was to know about Epstein, but now, years after his death, they, out of nowhere, are seeming to show such love and heartfelt concern for his victims,’ he continued. ‘Does anybody really believe that?’
