Streets to close for Arts in the Heart of Augusta festival

AUGUSTA, Ga. () – The Arts in the Heart of Augusta festival for 2025 is scheduled from September 19th to 21st, necessitating several street closures for the event’s duration.

The planned street closures for the 2025 Arts In The Heart Festival are as follows:
  • Sept. 17 10 p.m.:
    • 8th & Broad Street
    • 7th & Reynolds
    • 9th and Jones
    • McCarten & Reynolds east to 8th & Reynolds

  • Sept. 18:  The following pedestrian paths will be blocked:
    • On the levy at the western edge of the Festival boundary ( e.g. northeastern edge of the Mariott Hotel)
    • On the river path at the west side of the Riverwalk Amphitheater
    • On the levy at the eastern edge of the Festival boundary
    • On the river path at the eastern edge of the Festival boundary

The closures will be maintained until the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office determines that the areas are safe for the resumption of traffic after the festival concludes.

The festival is set to conclude at 7 p.m. on September 21st.
