A body was found in the trunk of an impounded Tesla at a Hollywood tow yard on Monday.

KABC reported that the vehicle was registered in Texas to singer D4vd, whose real name is David Anthony Burke.

The Los Angeles Police reported to the station that a vehicle had been parked at the impound lot for a few days before workers noticed a strong smell and contacted them for an investigation, which took place shortly after noon on Monday.

The body was inside a bag in the front trunk.

D4vd is currently on his “Withered” world tour, which accompanies his debut album, having kicked off last month. He is expected to have a performance in Minneapolis on Tuesday, with the tour concluding in Los Angeles on September 20.

KABC mentioned that the 20-year-old singer’s representatives have not yet given a comment on the matter. D4vd is recognized for his tracks “Here with Me” and “Romantic Homicide.”

Authorities have not said if they have an identity for the body found in the vehicle.
