JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (WJHL) — Dan Bragg will serve as the new chief executive officer of ETSU Health, the provider announced on Wednesday.

In a statement, ETSU Health announced that Bragg became part of their team on August 11. With over two decades of healthcare experience in leadership positions, Bragg brings a wealth of knowledge, according to the release.

ETSU Health mentioned that Bragg will oversee “the clinical division encompassing the majority of primary and specialty services at ETSU’s Quillen College of Medicine.”

Bragg also spent time as the ETSU Health Director of Finance earlier in his career.

Most recently, Bragg spent time in various leadership roles with State of Franklin Healthcare Associates.

“I am honored to return to ETSU Health and contribute in this new role,” Bragg expressed in the statement. “Our organization plays a vital role in the community by delivering high-quality care and ensuring accessibility through our academic medicine framework. We take pride in providing state-of-the-art healthcare across numerous specialties while educating future healthcare professionals. I am eager to guide the organization as we enhance ETSU Health’s mission to serve underserved populations and become the preferred healthcare choice in our region.”
