'Simply Not Good at the Job'—Former Biden Staffers Fire Back at Kamala Over Book Claims

In her new book, former vice president and Democrat presidential candidate Kamala Harris made striking claims, alleging that former President Biden acted recklessly by continuing his campaign despite noticeable declines in his mental and physical health. Harris also asserted that Biden’s team intentionally thwarted her attempts to gain the presidency.

The memoir, titled “107 Days,” officially comes out September 23.

However, a report indicates that former Biden staffers are responding, attributing Harris’s political difficulties to her own inefficacy and lack of ability. Curiously, these insiders remain anonymous, with the information being shared through the left-leaning Axios. Still, the friction between Kamala and Joe was well-known by the end of their political union.

Several of Biden’s former aides criticized Kamala Harris for supposedly altering history and deflecting responsibility. Her memoir accuses Biden of irresponsibility in seeking reelection and blames his staff for undermining her efforts.

She simply wasn’t good, one aide grumbled:

One former White House official remarked to Axios that “Vice President Harris was simply not good at the job,” highlighting her negligible involvement in critical administration tasks and frequent appearances at staged events that underscored her lack of depth.

“Biden is not the reason she struggled in office or tanked her campaigns. The independent variable there is the vice president.”

In her book, Kamala portrays herself as a victim, claiming she suppressed her concerns for personal ambition. She could have voiced her doubts about Biden’s leadership but did not, prioritizing her ambitions over national interest:

Among all White House figures, she felt least capable of urging him to step down, fearing her advice would appear self-serving and disloyal, despite her primary intention being to prevent a defeat by the opposition.

“It’s Joe and Jill’s decision.” We all said that, like a mantra, as if we’d all been hypnotized. Was it grace, or was it recklessness? In retrospect, I think it was recklessness. The stakes were simply too high. This wasn’t a choice that should have been left to an individual’s ego, an individual’s ambition. It should have been more than a personal decision.

One of the anonymous aides in the story had an answer for that:

Another aide dismissed Harris’ claim that she stayed quiet about Biden’s reelection plans to avoid looking opportunistic.

“I’m not sure the very robust defense of not having the courage to speak up in the moment is quite as persuasive as she thinks it is,” the aide said. “If this is her attempt at political absolution: Lots of luck in your senior year.”

The truth, as one of the sources said, was that she was “simply not good at the job.” Lots of luck in your senior year, indeed.

America dodged a bullet when Donald Trump beat Kamala Harris at the ballot box.
