Abbie Chatfield has hit back at trolls who took to social media to slam her comedic abilities.

The outspoken influencer, 30, is currently in New Zealand performing shows as part of her Trauma Dump tour.

Taking to TikTok on Thursday, Abbie shared a clip that showed her performing in Christchurch on Wednesday night.

In the clip, Abbie self-effacingly admitted to the audience that she is constantly amazed that people actually pay to watch her perform.

‘You guys actually showed up,’ Abbie said as she surveyed the crowd.

‘I was backstage, saying to my tour manager, I was like: “no one came, it doesn’t matter,”‘ she said.

‘But you’re all here, so thank you for coming,’ she beamed at the audience.

Although Abbie appeared to be warmly welcomed by those who spent to (AUD) to see her live, the response on social media told a different tale.

People flocked to the comments to slam Abbie, with one suggesting that she had no talent.

‘I’m curious to know what her talent is, or her social standing, or what she does or has to offer apart from being someone’s girlfriend,’ they wrote.

Not one to take social media slings and arrows lying down, Abbie was quick to defend herself.

‘I have an award-winning podcast, I host TV shows, I do live tours to venues with thousands of people, I am smart and talented and funny! And more,’ she wrote.

‘What do you have to offer besides being a troll?’

Another cheeky commenter chimed in with a cutting: ‘Pay to watch what exactly? Just curious.’

While she apparently received a warm reception from an audience that paid between $45 and $71 (AUD) to see Abbie in the flesh, it was a different story on social media

Again Abbie responded to the not-so-subtle barb with some cold, hard facts.

‘Two hours of a stand-up comedy show,’ she replied. ‘Played it to about 15k people so far.’

It wasn’t all criticism though, with many fans jumping in to praise Abbie’s comedic stylings.

‘Babe, your Newy [Newcastle] show was literally one of the best nights of my life,’ one gushed.

‘If I was a billionaire I’d buy a seat to every show every time.’

Another added: ‘Abbie is my IDOL 100,000%.

‘Without this queen I honestly think I would’ve done more stupid s**t than what I’ve already done in my life but I’m glad I get to listen to her wise words of wisdom because they’ve saved my life.’

It comes after Abbie and her partner Adam Hyde were slammed after going on a wild rant over recent anti-immigration protests.

'I'm curious to know what her talent is, or her social standing, or what she does or has to offer apart from being someone's girlfriend,' one person wrote

After taking aim at members of the National Socialist Network who clashed with demonstrators at Camp Sovereignty in Melbourne’s King’s Domain, Abbie tarred all attendees with the same brush, branding them ‘f***ing losers.’

She then brought Adam into frame and said: ‘All of you pieces of s**t who won’t listen to an adult woman because you call me hysterical, here is an adult man that will talk to you.’

Adam also pulled no punches, going on an expletive-laden rant, telling those who attended Sunday’s rallies to ‘die.’

The post generated a deluge of criticism on social media, with many taking to X to slam the couple.
