U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) reported on Friday that they have initiated a detainer for the arrest and deportation of an undocumented immigrant accused of using a machete to decapitate a merchant in Texas.

Yordanis Cobos-Martinez, a Cuban citizen, was taken into custody by Dallas police on Wednesday on homicide charges. He is alleged to have used a machete to behead a merchant during a dispute in front of the victim’s family, as stated in an ICE news release.

He then allegedly proceeded to kick the victim’s head “around like a soccer ball,” the release said.

Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin said in a statement. (The Department of Homeland Security )

McLaughlin remarked, “This case highlights our ongoing efforts to remove criminal illegal immigrants to other countries. President Trump and Secretary Noem are taking a firm stance against allowing violent criminals to stay indefinitely in the United States. If you enter our country without permission, you may find yourself sent to places like Eswatini, Uganda, South Sudan, or CECOT.”

ICE and the Dallas Police Department did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment.
