Man arrested for sickening act at Charlie Kirk memorial outside Turning Point headquarters in Phoenix

A man was taken into custody and charged after he openly vandalized the burgeoning memorial for Charlie Kirk outside the Turning Point USA headquarters in Phoenix on Sunday.

Fox News cameras captured footage of the man as he moved through the memorial, knocking over items such as flowers, vases, and flags. A mourner present at the memorial intervened to halt the man’s disruptive behavior. A man in a blue polo shirt is observed pulling the man away from the memorial and pushing him to the ground.

Phoenix police have identified the alleged vandal as 19-year-old Ryder Corral. In the video of Corral’s arrest, he’s seen wearing a shirt similar to the one worn by the suspect in Kirk’s assassination.

Corral was clad in a black shirt featuring an American flag and an eagle, which closely resembles the shirt worn by Tyler Robinson, who allegedly shot and killed Kirk while he was addressing an audience at Utah Valley University on Wednesday.

Just a day prior, the FBI released images of a person of interest in the assassination. The images depict a slender male dressed in jeans, a long-sleeved black shirt with an American flag graphic, black sunglasses, and a hat.

Kirk, who was a husband and father, was tragically killed by a single gunshot on Wednesday while speaking at an event on the Utah Valley University campus in Orem. He was taken to Timpanogos Regional Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Kirk was 31 years old.

Turning Point USA did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment.
