Rita Ora cheekily found herself in the role of third wheel when she hit the Emmys red carpet in Los Angeles with her husband, Taika Waititi, on Sunday night.

The 34-year-old British pop star joined the filmmaker, 50, at TV’s night of nights at the Peacock Theater – though it was Taika’s playful banter with Hollywood icon Cate Blanchett that turned heads.

In one hilarious moment, Taika clung to the TÁR actress as Rita tugged on his hand, mock-dragging him back towards her.

Another shot showed the New Zealand director stretching out his arm to hold onto Cate as she struck a dramatic pose in her daring backless pantsuit.

The trio’s amusing antics ensured all eyes were on them, with their cheeky grins and infectious chemistry making for one of the night’s most talked-about red carpet moments.

Rita brought her fashion A-game to the exclusive event, dazzling in a plunging cream-and-white gown with a daring thigh-high split.

The singer’s radiant glow shimmered under the camera flashes, her dewy skin adding a high-shine finish to her ensemble.

She completed the look with silver strappy heels and a chic fringe hairstyle, her tresses softly framing her face.

Her youthful, age-defying glow gave her a fresh look, ensuring she sparkled as brightly as the Emmy statuettes themselves.

Meanwhile, Taika looked suave in an all-white tuxedo with satin lapels, bow tie and tinted shades, paired with stylish black dress shoes.

Cate, who appeared in Taika’s 2017 Thor: Ragnarok movie, radiated old-school Hollywood glamour in her velvet ensemble, which revealed an open back.

Her striking ensemble proved why she remains one of Hollywood’s most daring fashion risk-takers, pairing timeless elegance with a bold, modern edge.

The trio’s show-stopping displays made them undeniable scene-stealers on the carpet, with each star commanding attention in their own right.

And Taika, with his effortless cool and cheeky charm, provided the perfect balance – making the trio’s red carpet appearance nothing short of unforgettable.
