VALDOSTA, Ga. () — A Valdosta man is wanted by local police after performing an armed robbery at a local business.

Authorities are on the lookout for Franklin Kier, 35, in connection with an armed robbery that occurred at Khushi Food Mart located in the 1500 block of Northside Drive. The Valdosta Police Department (VPD) states that Kier entered the establishment, displayed a firearm, demanded cash, and then escaped from the scene.

The firearm was discharged during the robbery, but no injuries were reported.

VPD issued arrest warrants for Kier with charges for armed robbery, aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.

Kier should be considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information on his whereabouts should contact 911.

Moreover, the VPD has taken into custody Kier’s associate, Kianna Grisby, who is also 35. Grisby was apprehended because she obstructed the investigation by giving conflicting information and not cooperating with the officers. As a result, she faces charges of obstruction.
