ATLANTA (AP) — Authorities have detained a suspect linked to a July vehicle break-in that reportedly led to the theft of Beyoncé’s unreleased music, as stated by Atlanta police on Tuesday.

Officers have identified the suspect as Kelvin Evans, who has been charged with entering a vehicle to commit theft and violating parole. Metro Atlanta’s Fulton County jail records did not show any attorney listed for Evans.

While accompanying Beyoncé for concerts in Atlanta, choreographer Christopher Grant and dancer Diandre Blue reported the incident to police on July 8, stating someone had shattered a window of their rental car and took two suitcases while they were dining nearby.

Grant informed police that he had “personal sensitive information” belonging to Beyoncé in his possession. The police report indicated that the stolen property consisted of two Apple laptops and five thumb drives containing “unreleased music” and other important digital files related to Beyoncé’s tour.

Atlanta police spokesman Anthony Grant said in an email Tuesday that none of the items have been recovered.
