Diary of disturbing disinformation and dangerous delusions
This claim:
“Charlie Kirk assassin has been identified as MAGA.”
— Rep. Dave Min (D-Calif.)
We say: Nothing ever suggested alleged assassin Tyler Robinson was MAGA; indeed, all evidence showed his views matched the left’s.
Yet that didn’t stop Min, like so many other high-profile lefties, from distorting Robinson’s background.
Even worse, as of Thursday, Min had yet to take down his Opposite World tweet.
This charge:
“The right winger who didn’t want Charlie Kirk to speak did what right wingers do and shot him.”
— A post teachers union boss Randi Weingarten retweeted Saturday
We say: Weingarten hastily propagated the misleading claim that Robinson was a “right winger,” suggesting that unlike the left, who “signed petitions” and “lined up to challenge Kirk,” the right resorts to violence to silence people.
It’s beyond disgusting. Weingarten later deleted her retweet, but parents whose kids are taught by her members now know how her sick mind works.
This remark:
“We’ve seen a death on Friday as a result of [ICE] entering communities.”
— Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker, Monday
We say: Indeed, an ICE agent did fatally shoot a man outside Chicago: an undocumented immigrant resisting arrest who dragged the officer with his vehicle, prompting the officer to fear for his life and discharge his weapon.
The officer was seriously injured, but Pritzker left all that out.
Then again, this is the same governor who posed with a “peacekeeper” now charged with murder in a crash-and-grab burglary.
This comparison:
“[Israelis] saying ‘we are going to withhold food’ . . . that also is dehumanizing the people in Gaza.”
— Former President Barack Obama, Tuesday
We say: Sorry, Barack, but Israelis haven’t withheld food in Gaza; indeed, the IDF aims to protect civilians there.
Which makes Obama’s equating Israel’s treatment of Gazans with Hamas’ barbaric Oct. 7 massacre of innocents all the more perverse.
