Singer D4vd’s home was extensively searched by the Los Angeles Police Department’s homicide unit late Wednesday night as they attempted to establish a connection between Celeste Rivas Hernandez and both the property and the singer.

Celeste Rivas Hernandez, 15, was identified Wednesday as the victim whose remains were discovered inside a Tesla at a Hollywood tow yard Sept. 8.

TMZ’s Charles Latibeaudiere told “Banfield” that police were looking for anything resembling “blood evidence.”

“They were investigating drains to determine if there was any blood evidence or tissue present,” he mentioned. “They conducted a thorough examination of the house, searching for any evidence.”

Police told TMZ that the home was “about a block, block and a half” from where D4vd’s Tesla was parked before it was towed away.

“We know the Tesla belongs to him,” Latibeaudiere stated. “What’s still unclear is who was driving the Tesla when the body was placed inside? Who parked it at the location where it was eventually found and seized? These are the connections that need to be established.”

D4vd’s had song leaked that mentions Hernandez twice

D4vd had leaked a song that mentions Hernandez multiple times, according to Latibeaudiere.

The track, which leaked on Soundcloud in December 2023, was titled “Celeste_Demo unfin.”

The singer references “Celeste” twice in the song, with lyrics stating “Oh, Celeste / The girl with my name tattooed on her chest / Smell her on my clothes like cigarettes // I hear her voice each time I take a breath / I’m obsessed.”

In the following verse, D4vd can be heard saying, “Oh, Celeste / Afraid you’ll only love me when undressed / But you look so damn gorgeous in that dress / Missing you so much makes me depressed / But I digress, because.”

“What is clear is that they spent a lot of time together,” Latibeaudiere said.

Latibeaudiere noted that no videos or photographs of Hernandez inside the house have been found. However, a livestream reappeared showing D4vd and Hernandez conversing with the singer’s fans, along with a picture of the two at an event in Los Angeles from October 2023.

D4vd and victim had matching finger tattoo

D4vd and Hernandez both had the same tattoo, according to police.

“The police did say she had this tattoo. She had a tattoo on her right index finger that said the letters ‘Shhh…'” Latibeaudiere had previously told .

Photos of D4vd show him with a matching tattoo on his finger. Latibeaudiere said TMZ spoke with Hernandez’s mother about Celeste’s tattoo, which was in red ink.

The cause of Hernandez’s death has been listed as deferred while the investigation continues.
