(KTXL) — Shots were fired at a local news station building in Sacramento, California, on Friday afternoon, local police said.

The Sacramento Police Department reported that at approximately 1:30 p.m., at least three gunshots were fired into the ABC10 building, which is a local news station owned by Tegna and also identified by the call letters KXTV.

The building was occupied, but no one was injured.

A police spokesperson indicated that the shots came from a moving vehicle. Officer Anthony Gamble noted that the bullets pierced the window of the station’s lobby.

Police said they did not have any suspect information or motive.

“We are currently unsure if this incident was intentional or random,” Gamble stated. “However, our detectives are on the scene conducting investigations to determine who is responsible for this act.”

Police did not immediately release further details.
