Man arrested after shots fired into California news station

() The Sacramento Police Department said they have a suspect in custody for a shooting at the city’s ABC10 news station.

The department announced on social platform X that they have arrested 64-year-old Anibal Hernandezsantana. He faces charges for assault with a deadly weapon, shooting into an occupied building, and negligent discharge of a firearm.

Police said a motive for Friday’s shooting is still under investigation and thanked the FBI for providing resources for finding the alleged shooter.

At the time of the shooting, there were people inside the building, but no one was killed or injured, according to police.

Sacramento police urge any witnesses to come forward by contacting them at 916-808-5471. Individuals can choose to remain anonymous and could receive a reward of up to $1,000.
