GLENDALE, Ariz. () White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles remarked that the late conservative advocate Charlie Kirk not only assisted President Donald Trump with his campaign but was instrumental in securing the support of young voters, which was crucial to their success.

“I am certain he is looking down, celebrating because his life, his words, and his courage to speak about God, family, and the nation created one of the most powerful youth movements of our era,” Wiles expressed.

Trump has consistently acknowledged Kirk for playing a pivotal role in his 2024 election success, particularly as more members of Generation Z turned out to vote for his re-election. Thousands attended his memorial service, which included notable figures such as Vice President JD Vance and other officials from the Trump administration.

Wiles said those who knew Kirk well were lifted by his conviction and his joy.

“To Charlie, revitalizing America meant bringing young individuals into this movement and ensuring they felt included,” Wiles stated. “President Trump’s success in winning the popular vote and all swing states was driven by young people who were mostly new to politics. Charlie didn’t just assist; he made the decisive difference, I assure you of that.”

Kirk was shot and killed on Sept. 10 while speaking at his event at Utah Valley University.

His alleged shooter, Tyler Robinson, 22, has been charged and faces the death penalty if convicted of the most serious charges.
