WATCH: WSAV's Tina Tyus-Shaw named Broadcaster of the Year

ATLANTA, Ga. () — Tina Tyus-Shaw has been recognized as Georgia’s Broadcaster of the Year for 2025 during the Georgia Association of Broadcasters event in Atlanta.

Tina has been with since for over 30 years. She was inducted into the Georgia Association of Broadcasters Hall of Fame in 2023.

Tina has contributed her efforts to numerous charitable endeavors, but one of her most significant achievements is the Breast Cancer Mammogram program known as Buddy Check 3. The initiative has been praised for saving numerous lives through early detection.

Congratulations, Tina! is extremely proud of Tina and all of the hard work she has poured into our local community over the years.
