Kate Gosselin's ex reacts to rumor she's dating man from past

Jon Gosselin made shock cheating claims against his ex-wife Kate Gosselin Wednesday, with his son Collin backing up his account.

The 48-year-old reality television star suggested that the bond between his ex-wife Kate, now 50, and her former bodyguard, Steve Neild, aged 50, evolved from a professional association to a romantic one. This shift reportedly marked the end of their marriage during their peak time in reality TV.

Jon posted on Instagram, sharing a picture of Kate with Neild, alongside a link to a Page Six article about their current dating situation, hinting that it’s more of a relationship revival.

‘Guess who really ruined the marriage,’ Jon said. ‘Read for yourself.’

The reality star from Wyomissing, Pennsylvania, expressed that previously, when he made similar allegations, they were dismissed, though now they seem validated: ‘Perhaps now when I speak, people will pay attention!!!’

The Daily Mail has reached out to reps for Kate for comment on the story.

Jon and Kate’s son Collin, 21, backed up Jon’s account in a post on Instagram Stories Wednesday.

‘What truly bothers me,’ he revealed, ‘is that my mom had been involved with our bodyguard back in 2009, and frequently shared hotel rooms with him during our family vacations, while I stayed in a nearby room!’

Collin added: ‘Now everyone thinks her being with him is some cute novel romance.

‘By the way my dad received death threats and got shunned by the public for years for “having an affair” and “leaving his kids.”‘

Collin later clarified on Instagram Stories that his intention wasn’t to create controversy but to clarify any public misunderstandings regarding the family’s situation. (Jon refuted any accusations that he was unfaithful in the marriage.)

‘Drama isn’t something I engage in, and I’m occupied with college, work, and managing my business, so don’t think I thrive on this,’ Collin stated. ‘However, I have strong feelings about cheating and placing blame on others for one’s own actions.’

‘Everyone says my dad and I are hung up on my mom. We are not. We have suffered the damage of a narcissist and cried together.

Collin concluded in saying, ‘So no we won’t just go and make TikTok’s and act reformed when we still feel pain from our past.’
