SANTA BARBARA, Calif. — Selena Gomez recently shared the joyful news of her marriage to music producer and songwriter Benny Blanco via Instagram, with a photo of the duo lovingly kissing and holding each other on a garden lawn.

Benny Blanco, responding to the Instagram announcement by the award-nominated singer, warmly commented, “My wife in real life.” For the occasion, Gomez donned a white halter wedding dress adorned with floral details, while Blanco sported a classic tuxedo and bow tie, both designed by Ralph Lauren.

Paparazzi had snapped photos of a massive outdoor tent and other preparations in the Santa Barbara area.

Reactions flooded in from entertainment industry friends and associated brands, showering the couple with heart emojis and congratulations. Her show “Only Murders in the Building” expressed excitement with “Our Mabel is MARRIED,” while her cosmetics line, Rare Beauty, joyously remarked, “so happy for you two.” Celebrities like Camila Cabello and Amy Schumer also sent their best wishes.

The couple’s relationship began approximately ten years ago, culminating in their engagement late last year. They previously collaborated on the track “I Can’t Get Enough” in 2019, alongside J Balvin and Tainy.

Benny Blanco is acclaimed for writing and producing hit songs such as “Teenage Dream” by Katy Perry, Britney Spears’ “Circus,” and Maroon 5’s “Moves Like Jagger.”

Since childhood, Gomez has been a prominent figure in the entertainment world, with successful tracks including “Calm Down,” “Good for You,” “Same Old Love,” and “Come & Get It.” She started her career on “Barney and Friends” and gained fame as a teen star on Disney Channel’s “Wizards of Waverly Place.”

She earned awards nominations in recent years for her ongoing role alongside Martin Short and Steve Martin in Hulu’s “Only Murders in the Building.” Gomez has a massive audience on social media with 417 million Instagram followers, the most for any woman on the platform.
