SANTA BARBARA, Calif. – Selena Gomez has tied the knot with music producer and songwriter Benny Blanco. The exciting announcement came through an Instagram post where the pair can be seen sharing a kiss and cuddling on a lawn.

Benny Blanco, replying to the post on Saturday, expressed his joy, calling Gomez “my wife in real life.” For the wedding, Gomez donned a classic white halter bridal dress embellished with floral designs, while Blanco sported a tuxedo complete with a bow tie, both designed by Ralph Lauren.

Paparazzi had snapped photos of a massive outdoor tent and other preparations in the Santa Barbara area.

The entertainment industry and brands associated with Gomez quickly showered the newlyweds with love and congratulations, symbolized with heart emojis. Her co-stars from the “Only Murders in the Building” series celebrated by saying, “Our Mabel is MARRIED,” and her beauty brand, Rare Beauty, offered its joy with a warm message: “so happy for you two.” Celebrities like Camila Cabello and Amy Schumer also wished the couple well.

Blanco, age 37, and Gomez, now 33, first crossed paths around ten years ago and took the next big step by getting engaged late last year. Their professional collaboration includes the 2019 hit “I Can’t Get Enough,” alongside J Balvin and Tainy.

Blanco boasts an impressive resume with credits on hit songs such as Katy Perry’s “Teenage Dream,” Britney Spears’ “Circus,” and “Moves Like Jagger” by Maroon 5.

Gomez is known for chart-topping tracks like “Calm Down,” “Good for You,” “Same Old Love,” and “Come & Get It.” She has been in the public eye since her childhood, starting on shows like “Barney and Friends” and eventually rising to fame as a teen icon on Disney Channel’s “Wizards of Waverly Place.”

She earned awards nominations in recent years for her ongoing role alongside Martin Short and Steve Martin in Hulu’s “Only Murders in the Building.” Gomez has a massive audience on social media with 417 million Instagram followers, the most for any woman on the platform.
