CHICAGO (WLS) — ABC7 Chicago will broadcast the Cubs Wild Card Series against the Padres on Tuesday and Wednesday.
The Chicago Cubs secured their home-field advantage for their National League Wild Card Series against the San Diego Padres on Saturday.
Chicago beat the Cardinals 7-3.
The Cubs and Padres play Game 1 of their best-of-three series on Tuesday.

First pitch will be at 1:08 p.m. ET on Tuesday and Wednesday for the Cubs v. Padres MLB NL Wild Card Series.
The schedule for game three is expected to be announced later Sunday.
ABC7 will broadcast the games.
The 2025 postseason will schedule four Wild Card Series games each day from Tuesday through Thursday, following a best-of-three format. These games will be broadcast on ESPN’s family of networks, according to the MLB.

The last time the Cubs played a postseason game at Wrigley Field with spectators was in October 2018. Their most recent playoff appearance was in 2020, a season marked by empty stands due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
