LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — The iconic music legend Dolly Parton has announced a delay in her Las Vegas concert dates due to “health challenges,” as she revealed on Sunday.

Parton, 79, announced her much-anticipated return to the Las Vegas Strip with “Dolly: Live in Las Vegas,” a six-night concert series initially scheduled for December at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace. This would have marked Parton’s first long-term Vegas engagement in 32 years.

In a Sunday afternoon social media update, Parton mentioned encountering some health issues, with her doctors advising a few medical procedures.

Parton released a statement that read:

“I want my fans and the public to hear from me directly that I am, unfortunately, postponing my upcoming Las Vegas concerts. As many of you know, I’ve been facing some health challenges, and my doctors recommend that I undergo a few procedures. As I jokingly told them, it’s time for my 100,000-mile check-up, albeit not the usual trip to my plastic surgeon! All jokes aside, this means I can’t rehearse and assemble the show as I want you to experience, and as you deserve. You pay good money to see me perform, and I strive to be at my best for you. While I’ll be working on my projects from Nashville, I need a bit of time to get show ready, as they say. Rest assured, I’m not quitting the business—God hasn’t mentioned stopping yet! However, I believe I’m being told to slow down for now, so I can gear up for more exciting adventures with all of you. I appreciate your love and understanding.”

The postponed show dates have been moved to the following dates;

  • Thursday, Dec. 4, 2025, to Thursday, Sept. 17, 2026
  • Saturday, Dec. 6, 2025, to Saturday, Sept. 19, 2026
  • Sunday, Dec. 7, 2025, to Sunday, Sept. 20, 2026
  • Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2025, to Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2026
  • Friday, Dec. 12, 2025, to Friday, Sept. 25, 2026
  • Saturday, Dec. 13, 2025 to Saturday, Sept. 26, 2026

Tickets remain valid for the rescheduled dates, and refunds will be available. Those who purchased tickets will receive more details via email regarding the next steps.
