Teen Vogue Summit 2025 brings music, media, and powerful mentorship to young creators

The 2025 Teen Vogue Summit took place in Los Angeles, where it welcomed young creatives for a day filled with inspiration and empowerment. Taking place on Saturday, Sept. 20, the event featured some of Hollywood’s most influential change-makers.

The summit provided an encouraging atmosphere for emerging leaders to learn, thrive, and celebrate. Participants had the unique opportunity to listen to guest speakers like Raven-Symoné, Alyson Stoner, Leah Jeffries, Tanner Adell, among others. These speakers offered valuable career advice, insights into the industry, and shared personal success stories through various panels, performances, and networking opportunities.

Country singer-songwriter Tanner Adell joined Teen Vogue Editor-in-Chief Versha Sharma to share why the Teen Vogue Summit holds significant importance for the next generation.

“What makes Teen Vogue Summit remarkable is the encouragement for everyone to embrace their own narrative,” Sharma expressed. “I want young creatives to leave feeling empowered, inspired, and ready to use their voice without fear.”

Tanner Adell echoed the theme of empowerment, motivating attendees to dream ambitiously, asserting that no dream is beyond reach.

“That’s the unique value of the summit,” Adell stated, “offering young creators the chance to hear from those who have achieved what they aspire to. I hope attendees realize today that with a dream, nothing is too large, and anything is achievable.”

Sharma offered words of advice she wished she could’ve given to her younger self. For any young person reading this, it’s okay to stand out in the crowd.

“It’s okay to be different, and it’s actually even better to be different and to own that as your superpower,” she said.

Tanner encourages perseverance despite the challenges life may throw your way; keep going forward.

“When the journey gets really hard, it’s so worth it,” she said. “Keep pushing and go for what you want. You deserve it always.”

Teen Vogue Summit launched in 2017. It continues to serve as a platform for youth voices that blend pop culture with social change.
