An investigation determined that Johnny Lynn Arnwine, 22, reportedly fired the shots that hit the victim.

Arnwine fled the scene in a light blue or silver 2023 Toyota Corolla with tag number 335BPVD in an unknown direction, the release stated.

“Arnwine is considered armed and dangerous and the public is asked not to approach him,” Chief James Hammonds said in the release.

Anyone who sees Arnwine is asked to call 911.
