OPFOB celebrates location purchase and 5th anniversary

OPFOB Marks 5 Years and Acquires New Site

RIDGELAND, S.C. () — Operation Patriots FOB (OPFOB) celebrated a new milestone on Saturday.

For the past five years, OPFOB has been operating from a leased location. However, on Saturday, the organization marked a significant milestone by officially purchasing their site in the Lowcountry and celebrating their fifth anniversary with a ribbon-cutting event.

“Reaching five years is a major achievement, but it’s merely the beginning of what we plan to accomplish here in the Lowcountry,” stated Stephanie Brown, who co-founded OPFOB.

OPFOB is committed to preventing suicide among veterans and first responders by aiding their recovery from PTSD through fostering peer relationships and community support.

“It’s because of the community that we’ve been able to grow the way that we have because of all their support,” said JR brown, co-founder of OPFOB.
