A Halloween showcase in Fountain Inn, S.C., is drawing attention for its intricate setup, complete with lights and smoke effects.

The display, often mistaken for a blaze, includes an overturned ambulance with a skeleton, intriguing both local and visiting onlookers.

“We’ve joked about the fire department disliking us, but in fact, we’re good friends with many of the firemen,” said a homeowner involved with the display.

The homeowners have partnered with the fire department to ensure clarity about the display’s intentions. The scene has already led to several calls to the fire department this season from individuals who thought it was an actual fire.

Alongside the Halloween themed setup, the homeowners also offer a pumpkin patch, providing free pumpkins to guests. This year’s event is planned for Saturday, October 18th, running from 8 a.m. to noon.

The homeowners are known in the area for their love of Halloween and their tradition of handing out full-size candy bars to trick-or-treaters.

Although they have arranged similar events before, the homeowners mentioned that this year their display went viral, amassing millions of views on TikTok and attracting more visitors.

To see the house in all its flaming glory or visit this year’s pumpkin patch, the homeowners shared that you can take a drive down Main Street in Fountain Inn.
