Festival of Trees unveils list of 2025 special events in Danville

DANVILLE, Ill. (WCIA) — The eagerly awaited holiday festival in Danville is around the corner, and the lineup for this year’s events has been unveiled.

The Festival of Trees Danville is gearing up for its November celebration, with special event tickets going on sale next Tuesday at 10 a.m. These can be purchased at the David S. Palmer Area box office or online, although online purchases will incur additional fees.

In addition to the main festival, a variety of themed special events will cater to different age groups. This year’s lineup includes the following activities:

  • Bourbon, Bubbles & Brew
    • A festive evening of craft cocktails, music and live auctions for a 21+ crowd
    • Thursday, Nov. 13 from 6-9 p.m.
  • Prehistoric Pit Stop with Santa
    • A dinosaur-sized adventure for kids with crafts, treats and a visit from Santa
    • Saturday, Nov. 15 from 9-10:30 a.m.
  • Glow Ho, Ho Adult Bingo
    • A glow-in-the-dark bingo night full of prizes and holiday spirit
    • Saturday, Nov. 15 from 6:30-9 p.m.
  • Princess Tea Party
    • A morning with princesses, tea and treats
    • Sunday, Nov. 16 from 10 a.m. to noon
  • Neon North Pole Family Bingo
    • Family-friendly bingo with glowing surprises and festive giveaways
    • Sunday, Nov. 16 from 5-7 p.m.
  • Ladies Luncheon
    • A midday celebration with lunch, raffles, live auctions and seasonal shopping
    • Monday, Nov. 17 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. (Arena Floor)

Set to run from Nov. 15-19 at the David S. Palmer Arena, the 2025 Festival of Trees promises to transform the venue into a festive wonderland. Attendees are advised to buy tickets early, as these events often sell out quickly.

Note that due to high demand, phone orders will not be accepted on Oct. 14. All ticket sale proceeds will benefit youth programs throughout Vermilion County. For further details, visit the festival’s website.
