Dave Smith: Josh Hammer Lies About Charlie Kirk’s Israel Support
Share this @internewscast.com

Dave Smith, host of Part of the Problem, didn’t mince words in his recent podcast as he addressed the latest turmoil in the conservative movement surrounding Israel and the late Charlie Kirk.

Smith focused on the public denials by Josh Hammer and the bold revelations by Candace Owens regarding a significant controversy: the possibility of Kirk reevaluating his support for Israel.

Smith began the segment by praising Candace Owens for her straightforwardness and honesty, describing her as “truly brilliant” in handling a challenging and emotional situation. He highlighted how her recent period of mourning added weight to her efforts to uncover the truth. Smith noted Candace’s dual role of grieving and investigating, especially under the pressure exerted by Benjamin Netanyahu and Zionists who were attempting to “control the narrative.”

The central issue revolved around Candace’s disclosure that Kirk was “rethinking his support for Israel,” a statement strongly refuted by Hammer and others, citing Kirk’s well-publicized letter to Netanyahu as proof of his steadfast support. However, Smith presented compelling evidence, stating, “We now know, and it’s been confirmed, that Josh Hammer was lying through his teeth when he said that.” Evidence revealed that Hammer was part of a group chat where Kirk mentioned he might “have no choice but to abandon support for Israel.”

Smith delved deeper: “I’m not trying to exaggerate what we have here, but I’m also not trying to downplay it.” He emphasized that Hammer had critical questions to address, especially considering his public denials occurred “during an active murder investigation.”

Smith’s analysis resonated widely online, with Clint Russell, Max Blumenthal, and Candace Owens herself supporting many of his arguments—each of whom will be featured alongside the video for readers.

Transcript: Dave Smith on Josh Hammer, Candace Owens, and Charlie Kirk

Dave Smith:

I think Candace handled this truly brilliantly.

Dave Smith:

Candace is no fool. Let me make that clear about her. As I’ve mentioned frequently on the show, there’s an intriguing dynamic with her and her program lately; she’s clearly in mourning. You can sense her grief over losing a close friend, making her presence notably intense. Yet, she’s also pursuing this investigation meticulously, aiming to uncover the complete story. Candace announced that Charlie Kirk was reconsidering his support for Israel following Netanyahu’s quotation from his letter, amidst Zionists trying to control the narrative.

Dave Smith:

“Candace says he was thinking of turning on them. In response to that, all of these people, including Josh Hammer, go out there and they say, that is absolute bullshit. He was never thinking of that. Josh Hammer’s out doing shows saying, we’ll just look at the letter that he wrote to Netanyahu. He was not even thinking of questioning his loyalty toward Israel.”

Dave Smith:

“Okay, we now know, and it’s been confirmed, that Josh Hammer was lying through his fucking teeth when he said that. He was on the group chat where Charlie Kirk straight up said, I’m gonna have no choice but to abandon support for Israel. And so I would just say, like I’m not trying to overplay what we have here, but I’m also not trying to underplay it.”

Dave Smith:

“I’ve met Josh a couple of times, I’ve debated him twice. You got some questions to answer, man. You really gotta answer some questions. You were active, you were lying through your teeth publicly during an active murder investigation.”

Dave Smith:

“Like, now look, that’s not perjury. He wasn’t under oath when he lied about this stuff, but there’s two elements to this. Number one, there was an active murder investigation going on and you’re publicly lying about the information that you know. And number two, supposedly this was your good friend.”

Conclusion

Smith’s commentary shines a harsh light on the mechanisms of denial and narrative control inside conservative politics, especially when the stakes involve Israel and its American advocates. The transcript makes clear: covering up uncomfortable truths with public denials, especially in tense moments surrounding loss and scandal, damages credibility and trust. Whether Hammer will respond directly remains to be seen, but the moment has become a rallying point for honesty—and a warning against protecting friends at the expense of truth and justice.
