(The Hill) – Early Tuesday, President Trump expressed discontent with Time Magazine over a new cover photo portraying him from a low angle, emphasizing his neck and giving parts of his hair a transparent look due to sunlight.

On his Truth Social platform, Trump acknowledged that the magazine’s piece on his administration’s attempts to broker a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas is “relatively good,” but labeled the cover photo as potentially “the Worst of All Time.”

Trump commented on the image, saying his hair appeared to be “disappeared,” with something resembling a small floating crown above his head. “Really weird! I never liked taking pictures from underneath angles, but this is a super bad picture, and deserves to be called out. What are they doing, and why?” he questioned.

The Oct. 10 article by Time correspondent Eric Cortellessa outlines how Trump, along with Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Special Envoy to the Middle East Steve Witkoff, the president’s son-in-law Jared Kushner, and other officials aimed to initiate dialogue between the conflicting parties.

The article mentioned that the 20-point peace plan, first proposed by Trump to Arab leaders at the United Nations General Assembly the previous month, could “become a signature achievement of Trump’s second term” and “mark a strategic turning point for the Middle East.”

On Monday, the agreement’s phase one saw Israel freeing over 1,900 Palestinian prisoners, while Hamas released all 20 living hostages and four of the 28 deceased hostages’ bodies, drawing criticism from families for not releasing all remains.

Trump met with hostage families and spoke at the Israeli Knesset in Jerusalem on Monday, before attending a signing ceremony with world leaders in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt.
