2 arrested in death of toddler who showed signs of abuse, police say

LIVE OAK, Fla. (WFLA) — Authorities have detained two individuals following the tragic death of a 2-year-old in Live Oak, as reported by the Suwannee County Sheriff’s Office.

At 3:06 p.m., a distressing 911 call was placed to the sheriff’s communications center concerning a child found unresponsive at a residence on the 22900 block of 128th Path. The caller mentioned that CPR was being administered.

Deputies, along with Suwannee County Fire Rescue, swiftly arrived at the scene. The child was urgently transported to a local hospital but, unfortunately, succumbed to his injuries.
