Emmanuel Haro's father defends wife in jailhouse interview

The recent guilty plea from Jake Haro, admitting to the murder of his infant son Emmanuel Haro, took many by surprise, including Brad Conway, a well-known attorney who previously represented the parents of Casey Anthony, an alleged child killer.

Conway appeared on “Banfield” to discuss Haro’s unexpected decision to change his plea in court on Thursday, moving away from his initial not guilty stance.

The tragic case began when Baby Emmanuel was reported missing on August 14. His mother, Rebecca Haro, initially informed authorities that her son had been kidnapped while she was changing his diaper in the back seat of a car outside a store. She claimed she was rendered unconscious and, upon regaining consciousness, discovered her son was missing.

“To see a guilty plea entered so quickly by October 16 is almost unprecedented,” Conway remarked.
