A shooting incident at an Oklahoma State University (OSU) dormitory resulted in several individuals being hospitalized on Sunday, according to police reports.
Authorities were alerted to the situation at Carreker East residence hall, with officers arriving at the scene around 3:40 a.m., as stated by the OSU Police Department.
OSU Police Chief Michael Beckner confirmed that the incident involved multiple victims, including at least one student currently enrolled at the university.
The injured parties have been transported to hospitals in Oklahoma City and Tulsa for treatment. However, the police have yet to release any details regarding their conditions.

Reports of the shooting at Carreker East residence hall came in early on the morning of October 19, 2025, prompting a swift response from law enforcement.
Local station KOCO-TV reported that three people have been admitted to the hospital following the incident.
Police said there was no ongoing threat to the public.

Initial reports indicated the shooting unfolded following a large, private party at an off-campus location, according to police, who said attendees had left the party and returned to the residence hall, where the shooting happened.

Students who do not live in Carreker East were asked to avoid the area as police continue the investigation.
