Central Illinois health clinic expanding services in Douglas Co.

MATTOON, Ill. (WCIA) — Sarah Bush Lincoln has unveiled plans to expand its Regional Cancer Center by an additional 15,000 square feet. According to SBL leadership, this expansion is in response to the increasing need for cancer care services across Central Illinois.

“Back in 2020, our Cancer Center welcomed around 25,000 visits annually,” explained Jessi Bergfeld, SBL’s Administrative Director of Practice Management. “As of this year, we anticipate reaching nearly 47,000 visits.”
