Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected to persist until around 10 p.m. Afterward, the skies will clear up to become partly cloudy. Overnight, temperatures will remain warm and humid, dipping to the low 70s throughout the Bay Area.

A front that moved through on Sunday evening is expected to stall on Monday and Tuesday, bringing a slight chance of lingering showers. Nighttime lows will hover in the lower 70s, while daytime highs will reach the upper 80s on both days.

Another front will pass through on Wednesday, helping to clear the skies and reduce humidity. Morning temperatures will start around 70 degrees, with highs staying in the upper 80s.

Thursday and Friday promise cooler starts, with morning temperatures in the mid to upper 60s, while daytime highs will range from the mid to upper 80s. Expect plenty of sunshine and lower humidity levels.

From Saturday through Monday, there is a slight possibility of some showers as tropical moisture moves in from the south. Highs will remain in the upper 80s, with a slight increase in humidity.

A tropical wave is currently moving into the Caribbean and is projected to continue westward over the next few days. While development is anticipated as it heads towards Central America, it is not expected to affect the United States. The wave has a 70% chance of developing within the next week, with a tropical depression likely to form by mid-to-late next week.
