Ellen DeGeneres has unveiled her sleek, expansive mansion in England after relocating from the United States last year.
The former talk show icon, who faced backlash in 2020 following multiple allegations of a ‘toxic workplace’ environment, offered a glimpse of her Cotswolds residence while capturing a playful moment between her dogs, Sport and Kid.
The 67-year-old entertainer resides in this impressive home with her 52-year-old spouse, Portia de Rossi, renowned for her role in “Ally McBeal.”
The mansion features an open-concept layout, seamlessly connecting the kitchen, dining, and living areas. Floor-to-ceiling windows provide a sweeping view of the verdant backyard, even on a cloudy day.
The interior design, estimated to be valued at approximately $30 million, showcases a refined color scheme of ivory and matte mocha latte beige.
The decor maintains a minimalistic elegance with a tiled dining table surrounded by eight leather chairs, a glass coffee table, and a lounge chair set atop muted gray and ecru rugs.

‘They’ve finally figured it out. We’ve all been sad since losing Augie,’ DeGeneres wrote in the caption, referring to their rescue dog who died in May.
‘Sport has brought so much joy into the house and it makes us so happy to see Kid play again, even though he has a very unique style of play.’
There is plenty of land to roam on.
And animals are everywhere: There are horse stalls, a chicken coup and wandering sheep that help cut the grass.
The video comes a year after DeGeneres and de Rossi left the U.S. and relocated to England in the fall of 2024.
The TV personality and actress moved to rural England, and they reportedly have no plans to return to the US.
A person close to the former Ellen Show host claimed that she and de Rossi were primarily skipping town in response to the 2024 presidential election, which saw Donald Trump win a second non-consecutive term.
The couple bought a home on 43 acres in Cotswolds, a rural portion of Southwest England that is about 100 miles from London.
They fixed up the place, named Kitesbridge Farm, then sold it for $30 million after experience problems with flooding.
Then they bought a new, much more modern house. It is is perched on a hilltop on the edge of a village in Oxfordshire. The cost is estimated to be around $30 million for the new property.
‘When we decided to live here full time, we knew that Portia couldn’t live without her horses. We needed a home that had a horse facility and pastures for them,’ said DeGeneres recently.

The area is popular with celebrities looking to avoid the hustle and bustle of London.
Ellen and Portia will have plenty of celebrity neighbors. Among the stars with properties in the Cotswolds are David and Victoria Beckham, Kate Moss, Patrick Stewart, Elizabeth Hurley, Jeremy Clarkson and Damien Hirst, among many others.
The area is even home to royalty, as King Charles owns Highgrove House in Gloucestershire.
Kate Winslet has also had a mansion in the area at one point, though it’s unclear if she still lives there, and Hugh Grant has been rumored for years to have a small hideaway in the Cotswolds.
In the fall of 2024, DeGeneres and de Rossi were spotted visiting Clarkson’s pub in the Cotswolds.

Despite reportedly leaving the US because of the election and Donald Trump’s looming second administration, DeGeneres had plenty of reasons for a new start away from home.
Her career was tarnished — likely permanently — by accusations that she fostered a toxic workplace on the set of her eponymous daytime talk show, which aired its last episode on May 26, 2022.
She delved into her persona non grata status on her stand-up special For Your Approval, which was released on Netflix in late September.
The comedian joked that she had been ‘kicked out of show business’ in the special, which featured material about how she has been spending her time since the end of her TV show.
