The U.S. Coast Guard plans to hold a press conference on Thursday to provide updates on their patrol initiatives along the southern border, specifically focusing on the Rio Grande as part of Operation River Wall.

This briefing is set for 2 p.m. in Mission, Texas. Earlier this month, the Department of Homeland Security unveiled Operation River Wall, aligning with the Trump administration’s intensified efforts to curb illegal immigration. This operation represents the Coast Guard’s most significant border enforcement action in several decades.
