NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. – The streets are set to come alive with the spirit of Halloween as the city hosts its 39th annual Jack-O-Lantern Jubilee. This weekend, thousands are expected to gather for a festive celebration filled with spooky sights, delicious food, and lively music.

On Friday evening, families flocked to Downtown North Augusta for a “spooktacular” night brimming with Halloween excitement. According to event organizers, this year’s Jubilee boasts more activities and vendors than ever before.

“Tomorrow, we’ll have over 180 craft vendors,” stated Jennifer Goldman from Explore North Augusta.

“There’s plenty to shop for and enjoy, including fantastic food options. Each year, the event just continues to grow,” she added.

As the event expands, so does the entertainment lineup.

This year’s highlights include a performance by Grammy-nominated Christian artist Matthew West, who expressed his enthusiasm about participating in the Jubilee.

“It’s a gorgeous day here in Augusta at the Jack-O-Lantern Jubilee,” West said.

“The whole street is closed down. I got off a tour bus this morning and smelled kettle corn and barbecue and thought, it’s going to be a good day. I’m just honored to be here tonight.”

Festivalgoers say the event offers something for everyone—from carnival rides to live performances.

“Food, great music. It’s great for our community to really spend time together and enjoy ourselves around this time of year,” said Colton Poole.

The festivities continue Saturday, wrapping up with a headlining concert from the Grammy-Award winning band Blues Traveler.
