NEW YORK — With just a week left before New York City’s mayoral election, independent contender and former Governor Andrew Cuomo is making strides against progressive Democrat Zohran Mamdani.

The Suffolk University poll, unveiled on October 27, indicates that Cuomo has narrowed Mamdani’s lead by 10 points. This follows a previous gap of 20 points reported in the September poll by Suffolk.

As the November 4 election approaches, Mamdani holds a lead over Cuomo with 44% to 34%, while Republican candidate Curtis Sliwa trails in third place with 11%. Approximately 7% of those surveyed remain undecided.
